Dear colleagues,

Welcome to UIC! The followings are the guidance for staff to apply for a debit card of CMB Bank. Please read it carefully. If you already have a debit card from CMB (any branches within Mainland China), you can submit the information to Finance Office in accordance with the second instruction below.

1.CMB debit card (the following refer to as Debit card in China Merchants Bank)

Please apply for a debit card at Xinxigang sub-branch of CMB① with all the following items:

 a. Identification Certificate

  i. Mainland China Residents: ID Card;

  ii. HK/Macau/Taiwan Residents: Mainland Entry Permit and HK/Macau/Taiwan Resident ID Card;

  iii. Foreign staff members: Passport.

 b. Your mobile phone with a mainland SIM card

  i. For receiving bank verification code;

 c. UIC staff ID card

2.Inform Finance Office of your bank account information in time after the card is successfully issued

Make a copy of your CMB debit card and your valid identification document * on one piece of A4 paper, write down your CMB account name, account number, your name, 

date of entry, division/unit, and Chinese mainland mobile phone number, and submit the hard copy to Finance Office in person before the 21st of the current month.
